 In The Spotlight 

It is time to get to know more about our ionMy's team.  We would like to present to you Monika Devi, who has been working with ionMy for the past 8 years. 

What is your current role? 

I am a tester and implementation consultant. I work with the team during the implementation phase when new clients come on board. I am heavily involved in the testing of the key function of the system where I conduct manual tests of the system with the sole goal of ensuring the best performance for the software. 

What do you love the most about working with ionMy? 

I love the fact that everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission which created a family environment where everybody is there for each other. FAMILY, FUN and FAIRNESS is the motto we have as an ionMy Family which is extremely important in a workspace. Also, I love the collaboration we have as a team, where ideas are heard and the whole team works together to make it happen. Working with an amazing team makes everything better. 

What is your favourite ionMy feature? 

I love everything about ionMy. If I have to highlight one feature I would say the risk matrix.

Who is your favourite person or company to follow? 
Well, this is a tough one but, in my work and professional setting that would be my manager (Michelle). Over these 7 years, I have learnt so much from her and continue to do so every day. She is a great mentor and even a greater leader. I am just super blessed to have a manager and a supportive team to work with!

 ionMy Hot Tips

Hot off the press: with the booster shot of the COVID-19 Vaccine, you can now add your 3rd Dose option in ionMy.

This is done in Settings > Drop Down Fields > Vaccination.

Select your COVID-19 vaccination type and update the Number of Doses and Time Period between doses 2 & 3 fields.

Public Feedback Portal: for those not using the ionMy Public Feedback portal, did you know that we have this available?

With the Public Feedback Portal, it is much more simple and easy for consumers and representatives to provide feedback and complaints. 

Your unique public feedback link can be embedded into your own website, sent in surveys and emails.

With it, you can go digital and save managing paperwork. You also get the right people alert when feedback comes in.

The next meeting is scheduled for November, 17th, 2021 at 3 pm (AEDT). 

The agenda will be sent a few days prior to this date.

We would really like to see as many of our members as possible at these meetings. This user group is open to all of our valued clients, whether you are residential, community, independent living, indigenous, disability and/or Childcare.

• World Mental Health Day - In the last October, 10th was a day for an important reminder for all of us, especially in these unprecedented times. It might seem hard to focus on mental health and wellbeing at this time, but prioritising this is more important than ever. Making a mental health promise is a great way to remind yourself to look after your wellbeing.

• New service to support aged care providers - Senator the Hon Richard Colbeck, has announced that home and residential aged care providers will develop coordinated workforce planning approaches under a new Australian Government service aimed at ensuring quality levels of personalised care are strengthened and maintained.

• Breast Cancer Awareness Month - The most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, with 9 people losing their lives to the disease every day, has a month of awareness when the National Breast Cancer Foundation's works in the mission to end deaths from breast cancer by 2030. The only way to stop deaths from breast cancer is by funding research to improve the understanding of how breast cancer originates, grows and spreads so that we can stop it in its tracks.  Sunday (October, 31st)  is Grandparents day.

They are the ones that bring history, wisdom and a lot of love. We honour and thank them because they have helped make us who we are today. 

This is a special day to show your respect for our grandparents (even if they are just in our memories).
