Introduction

The Environmental Social Governance (ESG) module in ionMy empowers organisations to effectively track, manage, and report on their ESG initiatives. This module provides tools to monitor environmental impacts, ensure compliance with social responsibility standards, and maintain strong governance practices. With automated reporting, and actionable insights, the ESG module helps organisations align their operations with sustainability goals, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations, fostering a culture of accountability and ethical excellence.

Getting Started

Managing Your Environmental Social Governance Register

This training will walk you through the steps to access, configure, and record Environmental Social Governance using the Governance module

Custom Field Configuration

  1. Hover over the Settings icon and click on Field Settings

  2. The page will redirect you to the Custom Labels tabs
    Note: The Custom label tab displays a list of pages from all modules that are available for customisation 

  3. Scroll down and click on Governance> Environmental Social Governance Register > Details (RSmiley_Details.aspx)

  4. The page will redirect you to a list of fields that are available for customisation within the ESG form.

  5. Click on the Edit pencil icon beside the field name you wish to modify.

  6. There are six options to edit in the table

  • New Label Value - This field allows you to define a customised name to replace the default field name displayed in the system, tailoring it to your organisation’s preferences or terminology

  • Tooltip - This field allows you to add a brief explanatory message that appears when users hover the mouse over the field, providing additional context

  • Mandatory Checkbox - This allows you to mark a field as required, ensuring users must provide input before proceeding

  • Visible Checkbox - This option determines whether the field is diplayed in the form, allowing you to show or hide it as needed.

  • Half Width Checkbox – When ticked, this option adjusts the field’s display size, allowing it to occupy half the width of the available space for a more compact layout

  • Sort Order - This field defines the sequence in which fields are displayed, allowing you to organise them your preferred order

  1. After editing click on the tick icon to save the changes

Editing Drop Down Field Values

  1. Navigate to your ionMy homescreen dashboard

  2. Hover your mouse over the Settings icon. Submenu options will appear on the right

side of the main module

  1. Click on Drop Down Fields from the submenu options

  2. This will lead you to the list of all Drop Down Field options available throughout the system, grouped by function.

  3.  Click the + icon to view the available DDL or MSB options within the ESG Register.

Viewing ESG records

  1. Navigate to your ionMy Homescreen page

  2. Hover your mouse over the Governance tile and select Environmental Social Governance(ESG) Register (or the equivalent name in your system)

  1. The page will redirect you to the ESG list page

  2. To view a record click on the View/Edit pencil icon in the left column

  1. The page will redirect you to the ESG details page.

  2. If the record needs to be updated, modify the details and click the Save button in the top right corner.

Tip – Viewing record info

To see a records main information, you can simply hover your mouse over Record Info button and the details will display in the blue rollover note box. This information is also visible on the list page.

  1. To return to the list page at any time, click on the Back to List icon at the top of the page

  2. Five print options are also available in the top right corner of the table, enabling you to print the list page.

Applying a Filter to the ESG Register

  1. Navigate to the ESG list page.

  2. Click on the Set Filter icon at the top of the page. A popup window will appear for you to set your filter criteria.

  3. Click the Search field ddl to see the available options to filter on

  4. Select the field you want to filter on and apply your desired parameters to the Operator and Value fields.

  5. Click on the Step 1: ADD TO SEARCH STRINGS button

  6. The field will appear in the Search String table

  7. You have the ability to add 2 additional filters if desired.

  8. Once done, click the Step 2: APPLY TO LIST SCREEN button

  9. The filter settings will be applied to the ESG list page

  10. Any set filters are retained against your login sessions. To clear a filter, click on Clear All icon

Adding a Record

  1. Navigate to ESG list page.

  2. Click the Add New button on the top right corner

  3. The page will load and take you to a blank ESG details form.

  4. Enter the details of the record.

  5. After entering details scroll up and click on the Save icon to save the record

  6. Once the record is saved, an alert will be triggered to the configured recipients
